Getting Ready for MRI
When you go for an MRI, you need to be ready so the machine can get clear pictures.
Hair products can contain metals and chemicals that might disturb the MRI images.
These include sprays, gels, and even some shampoos.
Metals can react in the MRI machine because it uses very strong magnets.
Certain chemicals can create fuzzy images, making it hard for doctors to see clearly.
It's best to avoid using hair products before your MRI to get the clearest images.
Wash your hair with plain water or mild shampoo that doesn't have lots of additives.
Always good to ask your doctor what you should do before your MRI.
