What is a CT Scan?
A CT scan is a special X-ray to look inside your body. It helps doctors see what’s going on.
Wearing a wig during a CT can cause problems. It might block the view.
For the best pictures, nothing should cover your head. This helps doctors see clearly.
Some wigs have metal parts. Metal can interfere with the scan.
Metal in wigs can be unsafe around the scanning machine. It’s best to remove them.
You only need to remove your wig during the scan. You can wear it again right after!
Without a wig, the CT scan will be quick and easy.
